Mtirala National Park is a protected forest area in western Georgia, near the Black Sea coast. The park lies within a high-rainfall zone, which led to the development of dense subtropical forest and rich biodiversity over time.
The area remained largely inaccessible historically, which helped preserve its natural landscape until modern roads and park infrastructure were introduced.
